Just a heads up to all...

Yesterday I installed Zorin 12.4 Core in its 32-bit guise.

Target system was a circa 2005 model Dell 6400 laptop, a very good little unit for its day but not equipped with a 64 bit CPU.

Anyway, the installation failed for several pages of reasons, some of which went by too fast for me to read and retain. Nor am I motivated to debug a crashed OS install right now.

This morning I went with Linux Mnt 19.1 "Tessa" in 32-bit form and it installed on the very same laptop without so much as a murmur of discontent.

As I write this it is running like a Champ.

I'm running Mint 19.1 on my Toshiba laptop due it being a 32bit.
W7 Home was just running to slow and using 75% of the CPU at idle. :icon_evil:
Very happy with it and now the laptop isn't lagging.
